@SneakyCastro - We're looking into reports of this. Next time a black screen recording happens, can you send your logs in afterwards?
To send logs you just right-click on the Plays.tv taskbar icon, select Help > Feedback, fill out the info and make sure the checkbox is selected. Post back here to let me know you have sent it.

I have the same problem, black screen with audio, i have posted the log.
We actually released a new version of the client that should have a resolution for this:
