My Battlefield 1 crashes whenever I record a moment using Plays.TV. I haven't found anyone else with this problem on here.
CPU: AMD FX-8320 Octicore
Ram: 16GB DDR3
Motherboard: Asus M5A97 LE R2.0
GPU: EVGA GTX 1060
PSU: 650W from Thermaltake
Are you recording it with DX12?
Its my GPU, nvm.
Say something more. I have GTX 1060 as well and facing the same issue.
Seems like there could be issues with the GTX 1060 and the game from just doing a quick google search. However, if you'd like us to investigate a bit deeper, you can send in a ticket with logs attached.
To send logs you just right-click on the Plays.tv taskbar icon, select Help > Feedback, fill out the info and make sure the checkbox is selected. Post back here to let me know you have sent it.
Ok! I figured it out.
So this is an BF1 latest update problem and the fix is just a walkaround.
Simply change GstRender.Dx12AutoDetect 1 in config file to 0.
Then the game will run on DX11 and the problem will be temporary fixed.
Sounds good! I saw some issues regarding that, but it didn't sound like it worked for 100% of people.
