It wasn't removed; it just wasn't added. There are still several features that haven't been implemented yet into the Beta App. I'll make sure your comment is listed in the feedback for features though.

After updating to the new client, I haven't been able to find any option to record my webcam. I've been through every settings screen to no avail. Was the webcam feature removed for some reason or am I missing something?
